Tweaked it just a bit today so the length was more inline with the RST hulls . Put a shim under the blade that seems to have it about the same as the RSTís . They appear to load about the same crimpwise . Last pic shows an RST 2 7/8Ē hull on the left , an untweaked hull I cut yesterday in the middle and finally a hull I cut today after adding the shims .

Do they go BANG and break clays and kill birds consistently?

..... isn't that all that really matters??

Well they are a bit nicer to look at than the Remington hulls I cut in my jig on the bandsaw . The ones I loaded yesterday and today are 1 1/8 ounce loads with the same Green Dot charge as the ounce loads I loaded week before last . The ounce loads hit targets well at f I pointed the gun correctly a couple weeks back . Think Iím
Going to take enough 1 1/4 ounce 10ís for the events at Backwoods and enough 1 1/8 ounce for the same thing . Iíll start with the lighter load and should I loose confidence Iíll switch . But to answer your question if all I was worried about was breaking targets or killing feathered birds Iíd shoot an O/U or an 11/87

You are clamping the base down prior to cutting, right? Thought I had it set exactly at 2 7/8" per my trusty Stanley tape, but..........

No I've been holding it down with my hand . I'm sure you set it correctly I just wanted them to match the RST hulls which may be a skoosh short . The RST's are 2.835" the ones I cut yesterday were 2.905" after my shim I'm getting 2.850" . All three work fine to be honest .

I might go over to the club tonight and try a round or two of skeet . Loaded 28 with the SP-10 wad , 19 with the BPI wad and cards then six more with the BPI wad and red beans as the only spacers .
