Default Hand checkering.

Anyone here do any hand checkering? I have a GH that almost all the checkering is worn off and was wondering if it would worth getting it re-checkered. Any ideas of ballpark cost of such a project?

Default Hand checkering

I have been in contact with Mr. Dudley. From the replies so far, seems he is probably an expert at this.

Default Checkering

Tennessee Dave

Donít know if you are still looking or not, but I live in Warsaw, MO and a friend of mine used to work for Fajenís doing checkering here when Fajens was the gunstock capital of the world. Heís done some work for me on one of my old Winchester rebuilds and his work is great. If youíre interested Iíll get his permission to pass you his contact info. I have already spoken to him about redoing the checkering on my recently acquired Parker DH. He told me that he had patterns for all the old Parkerís from ďAHĒ through the Trojans.
